Sokol and Co. Plans to Add 13% More Jobs to Company in 2012

Sokol and Co. was recently quoted in an article in Crain’s Chicago Business. The maker of Solo-brand pie filling, cake and pastry filling, marshmallow creme and more, is planning on adding ten new employees this year to their existing workforce of eighty.

The key for Sokol and Co. will be finding qualified candidates as CFO Matt McNulty says the company is “beating the bushes” to find the ten new employees.

This growth comes in the face of the current economic times, but as Crain’s Chicago Business says “People continue to eat.” The packaged food industry in general is holding steady as more Americans choose to stick at home instead of dining out.
